Yes, especially with the children's gifts. Sometimes with the gifts for the adults in my life it slips my mind but for children it is hard to wait for batteries.

Yes we include batteries when gifting something that needs them, especially if it's for a child so they are able to play with the toy immediately after opening!

Most of the electronic gifts are for my own kids, and they know which drawer to find the batteries in. :)  But if do give electronic gifts, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I'm more likely to if it takes a bunch of them.
