Food Recall: Trader Joe’s Creamy Valencia Peanut Butter Recall

Food recalls are scary, especially when it’s a product that a lot of us eat every week. This peanut butter recall occurred after 30 cases of of salmonella in 19 states were traced to Trader Joe’s Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter, a product manufactured by Sunland Inc.

If you have peanut butter or other peanut products in your house, check to see if they are part of this widespread recall. As a precaution, Sunland Inc. has also recalled 100 other products including peanut and almond butters, roasted peanut products, and Tahini from major grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Target, Safeway, and others. A complete list of recalled products can be found here.
