I have been using plastic bags (non-recyclable) hung on a door knob to hold my items for recycling.  This Rubbermaid item would give me the motivation to recycle while returning the plastic bags to the grocery store for their recycling while saving some nonbiodegradeable items from our landfill.  Even if I don't win this desirable item, I think I will use reusable grocery totes on the door knob from now on.  thanks for the tip.
