When you transform your outdoor space into a garden oasis, you may be surprised at how much more time you want to spend outside. And don’t worry, no need to break the bank! You can really spruce up whatever kind of outdoor space you have without dishing out a lot of money. By simply adding some bright accessories, such as pillows and lanterns from Kmart, you can make your outdoor area a luxurious, relaxing retreat.

Where’s the A/C?
I admit it, I’m not an outdoors person. Not. at. all. I try, I really do, but I get so annoyed by the bugs and the heat (oh my gosh—send me to Alaska) that I just stay inside. But lately, I’ve been wanting to get out more. A lot of it probably has to do with my husband getting the itch to remodel our backyard (as I type this, he is outside re-doing our deck—no lie!). So far he’s built a shed and planted various trees and plants, and it all looks gorgeous! But we’re not done yet. We plan on adding another lower level deck and then finally.. and in-ground pool! So much for hating the outdoors.

Discover the Kmart Outdoor Line
Thanks to Kmart, I had the wonderful opportunity to experience the Kmart Outdoor Line first hand. I needed to purchase a few things for the backyard and “window shop” for future items. My youngest son and I headed out on an amazingly hot day (bleh!) and ventured in to the Kmart Garden Shop. Aisle after aisle of outdoor products awaited us. Kmart offers everything from grills to chainsaws to plants. I needed some short wire fencing to keep the dogs out of the mulch around the trees and thankfully Kmart had it. I also purchased a bird feeder pole and a bird feeder (I don’t know why, I’ve just always wanted one.. hehe) as well as bird seed. But I also kept my eye on several things for the future once the second level of the deck is built like a new grill a gorgeous green patio set (see below), a bird bath, and so many more items I’ve last track. I hope you enjoy the photos below of our shopping adventure! (And yes, in the last photo my son is wearing a winter hat. He just haaaad to wear it even though it was 90 degrees outside. Weirdo.)
