My Thoughts
My local Yankee Candle store is located in the mall. I don’t go to the mall often, but when I do, Yankee Candle is one of my preferred stops. I don’t know about you, but when I get to the Yankee Candle store, I can’t just walk past it. The scent just lures me in. It’s almost hypnotic. Love, perhaps.

Thanks to Yankee Candle, I had the amazing opportunity to experience all four Patriotic Collection scents. Once of the things I love most about Yankee Candle is their burn time. Yankee Candles last a long time allowing the scent to be enjoyed for days, even weeks (if you’re not a daily candle burner like me!). So far I have used the America the Beautiful candle, which I love because it has three different scents in wonderful little layers (the Vanilla Cupcake is my favorite layer – yum!). I haven’t used God Bless America, Let Freedom Ring, or Stars and Stripes yet but that’s only because I’m a one-candle-at-a-time kind of girl. Of the three, I am definitely using Stars and Stripes next (I love spice-scented candles). But let me just say that the scents of the Patriotic Collection are simply amazing and remind me of why America is such a wonderful place.
